Sundown Manor was a great base to visit Cape Town. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and with plenty of choice, and the swimming pool and internal parking were a definite plus. Highly recommended!

I was at Sundown Manor for one day and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. A huge library of books and a great collection of drinks in the honesty bar! The hosts were very warm and welcoming. Great breakfast! Highly recommended!

I'm a Capetonian who now lives in Durban. I've stayed at the beautiful, comfortable & well situated Sundown Manor in March & October this year, 2013. Its run by Gary, Lindy & their team. They are warm, friendly & always helpful- nothing is ever too much trouble! Sundown Manor is my Cape Town 'home away from home'. I've booked for March 2014. I look forward to my next 10 day stay. All was perfect. Great large clean room with large bathroom next to the garden with small nice swimming pool, lovely to use the terrace to drink your coffee in the morning and to sit outsite in the evening before you go to sleep. There is also a large balcony where breakfast is served. Staff/owner are very very friendly. It is less than 5 minutes walk to the boulevard (and the public swimmimg pool, beautiful next to the ocean). Will stay here again.....

This is without doubt the best Guesthouse I've ever been in years. Starting with the care they always had so readily of Pepi, Gary and Lindy, always thoughtful and kind - thank you.

When you see the outer beauty of the house the impression one gets is already good, when you look at the beauty and organization, the wonderful style that the whole house is, the feeling is amazing. The view I had from my bedroom was just spectacular, had a full view of Lion's Head - gorgeous. The breakfast always very appetizing with lots of choices, simply adorable. The availability of coffee, tea, milk, sugar in the bedroom quite pleased.

The location is very good, is only three street from the beach and 1 trade, with several choices of shops, markets, restaurants, cafeterias, and has the V & A Waterfront a few minutes walk or drive away. The neighborhood is very safe and calm.
